एतस्मात्कारणाद्धर्षाद्द्विज नृत्यं करोम्यहम् । एवमुक्तस्ततस्तेन देवदेवो महेश्वरः
etasmātkāraṇāddharṣāddvija nṛtyaṃ karomyaham | evamuktastatastena devadevo maheśvaraḥ
« Pour cette raison, dans l’allégresse, ô deux-fois-né, je danse. » Ainsi parlé par lui, le Dieu des dieux, Maheśvara (Śiva), répondit alors.
