स्त्रीभावयुक्तासि वरानने त्वं देवं न जानासि परं पराणाम् । कामं पुरस्कृत्य पुरा भवानि समागतास्येव महेशमुग्रम

strībhāvayuktāsi varānane tvaṃ devaṃ na jānāsi paraṃ parāṇām | kāmaṃ puraskṛtya purā bhavāni samāgatāsyeva maheśamugrama

Ô Bhavānī au visage charmant, liée à l’orgueil de la condition féminine, tu ne reconnais pas le Dieu, plus haut que le plus haut. Jadis, plaçant le désir en avant, tu t’es approchée du farouche Mahādeva.
