yajñaṃ me saphalaṃ viprāḥ kurvaṃtu hyacirādiva | tadā te devayajanaṃ cakruḥ sarve saharṣayaḥ
Tirtha: Dakṣa-yajña (within Kedāra narrative)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A coordinated yajña scene: priests pour ghee into blazing fire, sages seated with kuśa grass, mantras rising; Dakṣa oversees with urgency; the atmosphere is ceremonially bright but with a subtle tension at the edges.
Ritual action proceeds through priestly agency, yet Purāṇic teaching often emphasizes that true ‘success’ depends on inner reverence and right relationship with the divine.
Kedāra-kṣetra is the textual setting, but the verse itself describes yajña proceedings.
To promptly complete and render the yajña ‘fruitful’ and to perform devayajana (offerings/worship to the devas).
