नागैश्चासुरसंघैश्च सेव्यमानो महेंद्रवत् । सुरद्रुमो जितस्तेन कामधे नुर्मणिस्तथा

nāgaiścāsurasaṃghaiśca sevyamāno maheṃdravat | suradrumo jitastena kāmadhe nurmaṇistathā

Servi par les Nāgas et les cohortes d’Asuras tel un autre Mahendra, il s’empara, par sa victoire, de l’arbre céleste qui exauce les vœux, ainsi que du joyau qui les accomplit et de Kāmadhenu.
