वज्रेण जघ्ने तरसा नमुचिं देवराट् स्वयम् । न रोमैकं च त्रुचितं तमुचेरसुरस्य च

vajreṇa jaghne tarasā namuciṃ devarāṭ svayam | na romaikaṃ ca trucitaṃ tamucerasurasya ca

Le seigneur des Devas lui-même frappa rapidement Namuci avec la foudre ; pourtant, pas même un seul cheveu de cet Asura Namuci ne fut brisé.
