ईश्वर उवाच । तुष्टोस्मि तव विप्रेंद्राखंडबिल्वदलार्चनात् । वृणीष्वाभिमतं यत्ते दास्यम्यपि च दुर्लभम्
īśvara uvāca | tuṣṭosmi tava vipreṃdrākhaṃḍabilvadalārcanāt | vṛṇīṣvābhimataṃ yatte dāsyamyapi ca durlabham
Īśvara dit : «Ô le meilleur des brāhmaṇa, je suis satisfait de ton culte fait avec des feuilles de bilva intactes. Choisis la grâce que tu désires : je t’accorderai même ce qui est difficile à obtenir.»
