मार्कंडेय इति ख्यातस्तं गत्वा पृच्छ संशयम् । तथोपदिष्टस्तैर्गत्वा तत्र तं मुनिपुंगवम्
mārkaṃḍeya iti khyātastaṃ gatvā pṛccha saṃśayam | tathopadiṣṭastairgatvā tatra taṃ munipuṃgavam
Il est renommé sous le nom de Mārkaṇḍeya : va vers lui et expose-lui ton doute. Ainsi instruit par eux, il s’y rendit, auprès de ce sage éminent, taureau parmi les munis.
