ब्रह्मोवाच । नाहं वेद्मि श्रेष्ठतां वः कथंचन नमोऽस्तु वः । सर्वे चापारमाहात्म्यं स्वयं मे वक्तुमर्हथ
brahmovāca | nāhaṃ vedmi śreṣṭhatāṃ vaḥ kathaṃcana namo'stu vaḥ | sarve cāpāramāhātmyaṃ svayaṃ me vaktumarhatha
Brahmā dit : «Je ne connais en aucune manière votre prééminence ; salutations à vous tous. Chacun de vous possède une grandeur sans rivage ; aussi, dites-moi vous-mêmes votre mahātmya sans bornes.»
