tasmāllobho na kartavyaḥ śarīre cātmabaṃdhuṣu | prāpteṣu va na hṛṣyeta nāśo vāpi na śocayet
Ainsi, qu’on ne nourrisse pas l’avidité, ni envers son propre corps ni envers les siens. À l’acquisition, qu’on ne s’enivre pas de joie; à la perte, qu’on ne s’abîme pas dans le chagrin.
