श्रोता चाप्यथ वक्तारं तदा वाक्यं न रोहति । अथ यः स्वप्रियं ब्रूयाच्छ्रोतुर्वोत्सृज्ययदृतम्
śrotā cāpyatha vaktāraṃ tadā vākyaṃ na rohati | atha yaḥ svapriyaṃ brūyācchroturvotsṛjyayadṛtam
Et si l’auditeur, à son tour, manque de respect à l’orateur, les paroles ne prennent pas racine. De même, celui qui dit ce qui lui plaît à lui-même, délaissant ce qui est vraiment bénéfique pour l’auditeur,
