ततः शौचोदकतांबूलदीपारार्तिकशीतलिकापुनः पूजादि निवेद्य यथाशक्त्या स्तुत्वा सुकृतं दुष्कृतं वा क्षमस्वेति प्रोच्य विसर्जयेत् । ततो भूयो नमस्य हेमवस्त्रोपवीतालंकारान् ब्राह्मणाय निवेद्य निर्माल्यं संहृत्यांभसि निक्षिपेत्

tataḥ śaucodakatāṃbūladīpārārtikaśītalikāpunaḥ pūjādi nivedya yathāśaktyā stutvā sukṛtaṃ duṣkṛtaṃ vā kṣamasveti procya visarjayet | tato bhūyo namasya hemavastropavītālaṃkārān brāhmaṇāya nivedya nirmālyaṃ saṃhṛtyāṃbhasi nikṣipet

Ensuite, après avoir offert l’eau de purification, le tāmbūla (bétel), la lampe, l’ārati, des rafraîchissements frais et le reste du culte—en louant selon ses forces—qu’on dise : «Pardonne ce qui a été accompli, bon ou fautif», puis qu’on conclue rituellement. Après s’être de nouveau prosterné, qu’on présente à un brāhmaṇa de l’or, des vêtements, le cordon sacré (upavīta) et des ornements ; rassemblant le nirmālya (restes des offrandes), qu’on les dépose dans l’eau.
