भास्करार्घं विना पातः कृतं सर्वं च निष्फलम् । तस्याहं श्रोतुमिच्छामि विधिं विधिविदां वर
bhāskarārghaṃ vinā pātaḥ kṛtaṃ sarvaṃ ca niṣphalam | tasyāhaṃ śrotumicchāmi vidhiṃ vidhividāṃ vara
Sans offrir l’arghya à Bhāskara (le Soleil), toute récitation sacrée et toute observance accomplie devient sans fruit. C’est pourquoi je souhaite entendre la règle juste, ô le meilleur de ceux qui connaissent les rites.
