स निष्क्रामति संसारे दृढग्राही स तिष्ठति । एवमेतन्महाकष्टं जन्म दुःखं प्रकीर्तितम्
sa niṣkrāmati saṃsāre dṛḍhagrāhī sa tiṣṭhati | evametanmahākaṣṭaṃ janma duḥkhaṃ prakīrtitam
Celui qui relâche sa prise sort du saṃsāra ; mais celui qui s’agrippe avec dureté demeure. Ainsi est proclamée cette grande épreuve : la naissance elle-même est souffrance.
