ओंगं गणपतये नमः ओंक्षां क्षेत्रपालाय नमः ओंगं गुरुभ्यो नमः इति आकाशे ओंकौं कुलदेव्यै नमः ॐ नंदिने नमः ओंमहाकालाय नमः ओंधात्रे विधात्रै नमः । ततः प्रविस्य लिंगाच्च किञ्चिद्दक्षिणतः शुचिः । उदङ्मुखः क्षणं ध्यायेत्समकायासनस्थितः
oṃgaṃ gaṇapataye namaḥ oṃkṣāṃ kṣetrapālāya namaḥ oṃgaṃ gurubhyo namaḥ iti ākāśe oṃkauṃ kuladevyai namaḥ oṃ naṃdine namaḥ oṃmahākālāya namaḥ oṃdhātre vidhātrai namaḥ | tataḥ pravisya liṃgācca kiñciddakṣiṇataḥ śuciḥ | udaṅmukhaḥ kṣaṇaṃ dhyāyetsamakāyāsanasthitaḥ
«Oṃgaṃ, hommage à Gaṇapati. Oṃkṣāṃ, hommage à Kṣetrapāla, Gardien de l’enceinte sacrée. Oṃgaṃ, hommage aux Gurus.» Puis, dans l’espace du ciel, prononcer : «Oṃkauṃ, hommage à la Déesse du lignage» ; et : «Oṃ, hommage à Nandin ; Oṃ, hommage à Mahākāla ; Oṃ, hommage à Dhātṛ et à Vidhātṛ.» Ensuite, entrant dans le sanctuaire et demeurant pur, qu’on se tienne un peu à droite du liṅga et, tourné vers le nord, qu’on médite un instant, assis en āsana, le corps immobile et stable.
