नैकवस्त्रश्च भुंजीत नाग्नौ होममथाचरेत् । न चार्चयेद्द्विजान्नैव कुर्याद्देवार्चनं बुधः
naikavastraśca bhuṃjīta nāgnau homamathācaret | na cārcayeddvijānnaiva kuryāddevārcanaṃ budhaḥ
Le dévot avisé ne doit pas manger vêtu d’un seul vêtement, ni accomplir l’offrande au feu (homa) d’une manière impropre. S’il se trouve dans un état qui contrevient à la discipline de l’observance māheśvara, qu’il ne rende pas un culte rituel aux dvija (brahmanes), ni n’accomplisse l’adoration formelle des divinités.
