दृष्ट्वा प्रत्यक्षतो मादृक्कथं पिबति भो वद । साधु वाप्यथवाऽसाधु न पिबेयं कथंचन
dṛṣṭvā pratyakṣato mādṛkkathaṃ pibati bho vada | sādhu vāpyathavā'sādhu na pibeyaṃ kathaṃcana
«Dis-moi : comment quelqu’un comme moi pourrait-il boire, alors que je le vois de mes yeux, là, devant moi ? Que ce soit convenable ou non, je ne boirai d’aucune manière.»
