यच्चाक्रुश्य ददात्यंग दत्त्वा वाक्रोशति द्विजम् । पैशाचं तद्वृथा दानंदाननाशास्त्रयस्त्वमी
yaccākruśya dadātyaṃga dattvā vākrośati dvijam | paiśācaṃ tadvṛthā dānaṃdānanāśāstrayastvamī
Et, cher ami, le don qu’on fait en injuriant (le récipiendaire), ou qu’après l’avoir offert on se met à outrager le brāhmane, est dit « paiśāca » et devient vain. Telles sont bien les trois manières dont un don est ruiné.
