संसदि व्रीडयाऽश्रुत्य आर्थिभ्यः प्रददाति च । प्रतिदीयते च यद्दानं व्रीडादानमिति श्रुतम्
saṃsadi vrīḍayā'śrutya ārthibhyaḥ pradadāti ca | pratidīyate ca yaddānaṃ vrīḍādānamiti śrutam
Le don accordé aux demandeurs dans une assemblée par honte (de peur d’être blâmé), et qui est rendu en retour, est connu comme ‘vrīḍā-dāna’ (don de honte).
