Transliteration

paṃcāśacca sahasrāṇi saptadvīpāḥ sasāgarāḥ | daśottarāṇi paṃcaiva aṃgulānāṃ śatāni ca

Translation

Les sept continents, avec leurs océans, totalisent cinquante mille (en mesure). Et, dans un calcul plus subtil, il y a encore cinq cents aṅgulas, plus dix.
