tato maheśvaraḥ prītaḥ prāha skaṃdasya śrṛṇvataḥ | caturdaśyāṃ kṛṣṇapakṣe madhau caivātra yo naraḥ | snātvopoṣya samabhyarcya kapāleśvaramīśvarīm
Alors Maheśvara, satisfait, parla tandis que Skanda écoutait : « Au jour de caturdaśī, le quatorzième jour lunaire de la quinzaine sombre, au mois de Madhu, quiconque se baigne ici, observe le jeûne (upavāsa) et vénère comme il se doit Kapāleśvara et la Déesse… »
