abhāgyairiva lokeṣu tārakaḥ skaṃdamāyayau | jagrāha ca gadāṃ divyāṃ lakṣaghaṃṭādurāsadām
Tel le malheur s’abattant sur les mondes, Tāraka s’avança vers Skanda par sa māyā ; et il saisit une massue divine, redoutable au fracas de cent mille cloches.
