रेसतू रोदसी तूर्णं मुमुहुश्च महर्षयः । व्यनदंश्च महाकाया दैत्या जलधरोपमाः
resatū rodasī tūrṇaṃ mumuhuśca maharṣayaḥ | vyanadaṃśca mahākāyā daityā jaladharopamāḥ
Aussitôt, les deux mondes —ciel et terre— frémirent et poussèrent un cri; les grands ṛṣi furent saisis de trouble. Et les Daitya aux corps gigantesques, pareils à des amas de nuées d’orage, rugirent à pleine voix.
