Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages
Scene: Lohitākṣa—red-eyed, terrifying—stands newly manifested by Skanda’s grace; around him the ‘eight heroes’ and the wondrous troop of Skanda’s Mothers form a protective, martial circle.
Skanda’s grace reorders and appoints even fearsome energies into a structured, protective cosmic function.
No location is named; the verse defines a divine group associated with Skanda.
No direct prescription; it sets up the basis for worship of these beings in a protective context.
