सव्यं करं ददावस्य तं चासौ नाभ्यनन्दत । भद्रे यच्छुचि नैव स्याद्यच्चैवावज्ञया कृतम्
savyaṃ karaṃ dadāvasya taṃ cāsau nābhyanandata | bhadre yacchuci naiva syādyaccaivāvajñayā kṛtam
Elle lui offrit sa main gauche, mais il ne l’accepta pas. Il dit : «Ô douce dame, ce qui n’est pas pur, et ce qui est fait avec mépris, ne doit pas être reçu.»
