नारद उवाच । एवं विप्रकृता देवा महेंद्रसहितास्तदा । ययुः स्वायंभुवं दाम मर्करूपमुपाश्रिताः
nārada uvāca | evaṃ viprakṛtā devā maheṃdrasahitāstadā | yayuḥ svāyaṃbhuvaṃ dāma markarūpamupāśritāḥ
Nārada dit : Ainsi, les Devas, accablés et humiliés, avec Mahendra (Indra), se rendirent alors à la demeure du Seigneur Né-de-Lui-même, en prenant une forme déguisée.
