वित्रेसुर्दुद्रुवुर्जघ्नुर्निपेतुश्च सहस्रशः । एवं विलुलिते तस्मिन्दानवेन्द्रे महाबले

vitresurdudruvurjaghnurnipetuśca sahasraśaḥ | evaṃ vilulite tasmindānavendre mahābale

Ils furent saisis de terreur : les uns s’enfuirent, les autres frappèrent, et des milliers tombèrent. Ainsi, tandis que ce puissant seigneur des Dānavas était jeté dans le tumulte,
