Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 37

आत्मज्ञानं परं केचित्समलोष्टाश्मकांचनम् । इत्थं व्यवस्थिते लोके कृत्याकृत्यविधौ जनाः

ātmajñānaṃ paraṃ kecitsamaloṣṭāśmakāṃcanam | itthaṃ vyavasthite loke kṛtyākṛtyavidhau janāḥ

Certains tiennent pour suprême la connaissance du Soi (ātma-jñāna), où motte de terre, pierre et or sont vus d’un même regard. Ainsi, dans ce monde ainsi ordonné, les hommes se divisent quant à ce qu’il faut faire ou ne pas faire.
