Transliteration
gajānāmagalanmedaḥ petuścāpi rathā bhuvi | turaṃgamāḥ śvasaṃtaśca gharmārtā rathinopi ca
Translation
La graisse des éléphants fondait, et les chars s’abattaient sur le sol. Les chevaux haletaient, et même les auriges étaient accablés par la chaleur brûlante.
