न शेकुश्चलितुं तत्र पदादपि पदं तदा । ततो नानास्त्रवर्षेण दानवानां महाचमूः

Transliteration

na śekuścalituṃ tatra padādapi padaṃ tadā | tato nānāstravarṣeṇa dānavānāṃ mahācamūḥ

Translation

Alors ils ne purent s’y mouvoir, pas même d’un pas ; puis, sous une pluie d’armes de toutes sortes, la grande armée des Dānavas fut accablée.
