दुःखपारमपश्यंती प्राणांस्त्यक्तुं व्यवस्थिता । पुत्रं मे घोरदुःखस्य तारकं देहि चेत्कृपा
duḥkhapāramapaśyaṃtī prāṇāṃstyaktuṃ vyavasthitā | putraṃ me ghoraduḥkhasya tārakaṃ dehi cetkṛpā
Ne voyant pas l'autre rive de cet océan de chagrin, je suis résolue à abandonner la vie. Si tu as de la compassion, accorde-moi un fils — un fils qui me fera traverser cette terrible douleur.
