त ऊचुः । त्वं निवेद्य स चास्माकं प्रविष्टो हव्यवाहनम् । तत्कालमेव विप्रेंद्र न विद्मस्तत्र कारणम्
ta ūcuḥ | tvaṃ nivedya sa cāsmākaṃ praviṣṭo havyavāhanam | tatkālameva vipreṃdra na vidmastatra kāraṇam
Ils dirent : «Ô le meilleur des brahmanes, après que tu l’eus annoncé, il entra dans le feu sacrificiel (Agni) sous nos yeux. À cet instant même, nous n’en comprîmes pas la cause.»
