कामार्तेन मया शप्तस्तस्मात्कूर्मः क्षणाद्भव । ततः प्रणम्य विज्ञप्तः शापतापहरो मया

kāmārtena mayā śaptastasmātkūrmaḥ kṣaṇādbhava | tataḥ praṇamya vijñaptaḥ śāpatāpaharo mayā

« Affligé par la luxure, tu as été maudit par Moi ; deviens donc une tortue en un instant. » Puis, se prosternant, il implora, et Je devins celui qui dissipe la brûlure de cette malédiction.
