Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahāmuni (unnamed here; later context includes Devī as frame)
Scene: Śiva addressing a great sage near Aruṇācala, gesturing toward the sanctum where, at offering time, a radiant multitude of tīrthas becomes visible—suggesting ‘do not seek elsewhere’.
True pilgrimage culminates in devotion at the Lord’s presence; the essence of many journeys is gathered in Śiva-worship.
Aruṇācala’s Śiva-sannidhi, portrayed as sufficient in itself—rendering other tīrtha-search unnecessary.
Be present at Śiva’s ‘upahāra-velā’ (offering time) to witness/receive the merit of the tīrtha-collection.
