अथ तानभयं देहि देवीति भयविह्वलान् । अमरान्वीक्ष्य सा देवी किं कार्यमिति चाभ्यधात्
atha tānabhayaṃ dehi devīti bhayavihvalān | amarānvīkṣya sā devī kiṃ kāryamiti cābhyadhāt
Alors, voyant les Immortels bouleversés par la peur, la Déesse dit : «Accorde-nous l’intrépidité, ô Devī !» puis elle leur demanda en retour : «Que faut-il faire ?»
