Transliteration

kva sā bālātimṛdvaṃgī kva ca tattādṛśaṃ tapaḥ | kaṭhoravarṣmasaṃsādhyamaho saccetaso dhṛtiḥ

Translation

Comment une enfant aux membres si délicats pourrait-elle porter une telle austérité ? Une telle pratique sied à des corps endurcis par la rigueur ; merveilleuse est la constance de son esprit pur.
