Transliteration

amarṣe karṣati mano manobhū saṃbhavaḥ kutaḥ | vidhuṃtude tudatyuccairvidhuṃ kutrāsti kaumudī

Translation

Quand l’impatience et l’amertume tirent l’esprit en tous sens, comment le dieu de l’amour pourrait-il naître de façon saine ? Quand la lune est violemment frappée par le « mal lunaire », où demeurerait la beauté apaisante du clair de lune ?
