Skanda (deduced: Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly Skanda speaking to Agastya)
Tirtha: Pilipilā
Type: ghat
Listener: Agastya
Scene: On the ghāṭ, a householder performs śrāddha offerings and tarpaṇa; nearby, food is served to the poor and those without protection; the atmosphere suggests quiet dignity and lasting fortune.
Ritual piety (śrāddha) joined with compassion (feeding the needy) yields both worldly stability and dharmic merit.
The verse continues the praise of the preceding tīrtha context—Pilipilā Tīrtha.
Perform śrāddha and associated rites, and offer pratarpaṇa (feeding/satisfying) to the poor and helpless.
