Transliteration

tayātha prārthitā gaurī garbhiṇyā bhaktitoṣitā | putraṃ dehi mahāmāye sākṣādviṣṇvaṃśasaṃbhavam

Translation

Alors cette femme enceinte pria Gaurī ; la Déesse, satisfaite de sa dévotion, fut implorée : «Ô grande Mahāmāyā, accorde-moi un fils, né directement de la lignée de Viṣṇu.»
