यं न वेदा विदुः सम्यङ्न च तौ वेदपूरुषौ । ततोपि वरयोग्योस्मि तन्नाथ प्रार्थयाम्यहम्
yaṃ na vedā viduḥ samyaṅna ca tau vedapūruṣau | tatopi varayogyosmi tannātha prārthayāmyaham
« Celui que même les Veda ne connaissent pas pleinement—ni ces deux “personnes du Veda”—pourtant je suis encore digne de demander une grâce. Ainsi, ô Seigneur, je formule ma requête. »
