Transliteration

jitaroṣarayāḥ śūrāḥ saumyasauṃdaryabhūmayaḥ | ityādi guṇasaṃpannāḥ susaṃcitayaśodhanāḥ

Translation

C’étaient des héros ayant dompté l’élan de la colère ; doux, comme une terre où s’établit la beauté. Pourvus de telles qualités, ils amassèrent un trésor de renommée (yaśas) justement acquise.
