Le mérite de cela est tenu pour des dizaines de millions sur des dizaines de millions de fois supérieur à celui de Naimiṣāraṇya. Ici, depuis le sanctuaire de Gokarṇa, le Grand Être se manifesta de lui-même.
Skanda
Tirtha: Brahmāvarta (Kāśī) / Gokarṇa-āyatana vicinity
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pilgrimage-inquirer sages/devotees (frame)
Scene: A pilgrim enters a dense, lamp-lit Kāśī lane; a small shrine marked ‘Gokarṇa’ glows as Śiva’s presence is felt as self-manifest, with subtle radiance emerging from the liṅga/garbhagṛha; sages recall Naimiṣa in the background as a distant forest contrast.
Kāśī is exalted as a supreme merit-field where even famed forest tīrthas are surpassed, because divinity is self-manifest there.
Brahmāvarta’s merit in Kāśī and the Gokarṇa shrine (Gokarṇāyatana) as a locus of divine manifestation.
No new rite is added; the verse magnifies the resulting puṇya and grounds it in the deity’s svayaṃ-āvirbhāva (self-manifestation).
