Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 86

दंतकेशांबरादीनि नित्यं शोध्यानि यत्नतः । अनिष्टचिंता नो कार्या व्रतिना हृद्यपि क्वचित्

Transliteration

daṃtakeśāṃbarādīni nityaṃ śodhyāni yatnataḥ | aniṣṭaciṃtā no kāryā vratinā hṛdyapi kvacit

Translation

Les dents, les cheveux, les vêtements et autres choses semblables doivent être purifiés chaque jour avec soin. L’observant du vœu ne doit nourrir aucune pensée nuisible ou funeste, même au fond du cœur, à aucun moment.
