Transliteration

pūrṇe varṣasahasre tu prasphoṭya ghaṭasaṃbhava | tadabheditayautsukyādaṃḍamaṣṭamake śate

Translation

Quand mille années furent pleinement accomplies, ô né de la jarre, poussée par l’impatience de ce qui n’avait pas encore été fendu, elle fit éclater l’œuf au huitième cent (d’années) ensuite.
