Ceux qui m’adorent ici sans cesse, moi qu’on nomme Aruṇāditya, n’auront ni chagrin, ni pauvreté, ni faute.
Arka (Sūrya) (context continuation)
Tirtha: Aruṇāditya (Kāśī)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A Kāśī shrine at dawn: Aruṇāditya as a radiant solar presence, devotees offering flowers and arghya; the promise of freedom from sorrow, poverty, and sin is implied through serene faces and auspicious light.
Steady devotion to the deity at a sacred place yields both worldly well-being (freedom from poverty and sorrow) and moral purification (freedom from sin).
The Aruṇāditya worship-site in Kāśī (Vārāṇasī) described in this adhyāya.
Satatārcana—regular/continuous worship (arcana) of Aruṇāditya at that place.
