Narrator
Tirtha: Dharmatīrtha (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: After Durdama’s ascent, Gālava stands alone at the sacred waters, hands raised in prayer toward the hovering Sudarśana, requesting its continued presence.
Holy places arise from saintly intention—sages invoke divine power for the welfare and protection of beings.
The verse initiates the request that culminates in the establishment and fame of Cakratīrtha.
Prārthanā (earnest supplication) to the divine is presented as the means to secure sacred protection.
