छलेन मुमुचे सद्यः सपत्नीजयदोषतः । अतोऽत्र तीर्थे ये स्नांति मानवाः शुदमानसाः
chalena mumuce sadyaḥ sapatnījayadoṣataḥ | ato'tra tīrthe ye snāṃti mānavāḥ śudamānasāḥ
Par un stratagème, elle fut aussitôt délivrée de la faute née de la victoire sur une coépouse. C’est pourquoi ceux qui se baignent en ce tīrtha l’esprit purifié sont affranchis de telles souillures.
