Type: kshetra
Scene: Pilgrims of varied ages enter the Dhanuṣkoṭi waters at sunrise; a luminous current symbolically washes away dark ‘bundles’ of sin, shown as dissolving shadows.
Pilgrimage and sacred bathing, done with faith, are upheld as potent prāyaścitta (expiation) in Purāṇic dharma.
Dhanuṣkoṭi is explicitly glorified as a sin-destroying tīrtha.
