वधे चास्मरणं देवानात्मनो जनकस्य वै । तथास्त्विति सुराः प्रोचुः पुनरूचुरिदं वचः
vadhe cāsmaraṇaṃ devānātmano janakasya vai | tathāstviti surāḥ procuḥ punarūcuridaṃ vacaḥ
«Et qu’il n’y ait, chez les dieux, nul souvenir de ce meurtre, et que mon père en soit délivré.» Les dieux répondirent : «Qu’il en soit ainsi», puis reprirent ces paroles.
