हे जाये तिष्ठ मनसा घोरेति व्याहरन्मुहुः । एवं बहुप्रकारं वै स सूक्तं प्रालपन्नृपः

he jāye tiṣṭha manasā ghoreti vyāharanmuhuḥ | evaṃ bahuprakāraṃ vai sa sūktaṃ prālapannṛpaḥ

Sans cesse le roi disait : «Ô épouse, demeure ferme en ton esprit—hélas, quelle horreur !». Ainsi, de maintes façons, il ne cessait de proférer ces paroles.
