Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 79

समारुरुहतुस्तूर्णं तुंगं मंचं च तौ तदा । तत्र तुंगे समासीनमासने कंसमेत्य तौ । तस्थतुस्तं तृणीकृत्य सिंहौ क्षुद्रमृगं यथा

samāruruhatustūrṇaṃ tuṃgaṃ maṃcaṃ ca tau tadā | tatra tuṃge samāsīnamāsane kaṃsametya tau | tasthatustaṃ tṛṇīkṛtya siṃhau kṣudramṛgaṃ yathā

Alors tous deux montèrent promptement sur la haute estrade. S’approchant de Kaṃsa assis sur le trône élevé, ils se tinrent devant lui, le tenant pour rien, tels des lions face à une bête chétive.
